1st weigh in: (they'll be mondays and fridays) 148. Not what I want but I'm not complaining especially since I weighed myself at night not too far after dinner.

Intake:
B: oatmeal w/rasins and soy milk, pear, green tea
S: 22 oz ice water, One a Day, Calcium, and Vitamin E tablets
L: vanilla yogurt w/wheat germ, carrots, apple, iced green tea
S: Kashi granola bar (best granola bar ever!), iced green tea
D: 1/2 a veggie roll, coleslaw, pickle, orange wedge, iced tea w/splenda

Exercise:
Took the dog for a really long sweaty walk

Points:
0 junk food: 2 pts

water: 2 pts (gotta get back into drinking so much water)

Total:  12/17 Not bad for my first day if I say so myself.

I think I'm gonna work out some sort of points system so I can look at my daily scores and see how I've been doing and what I need to work on.

Did I mention I'm gonna get a gym membership? Well I am. My best friend and I are gonna get em and we're planning on going like 3 or 4 days a week. I don't think she's as serious about this as I am (why should she? she's a size 5) but that's ok cause I know she'll still support. It should be fun. I'm just not looking forward to all the money I'm gonna have to fork over. Oh well, at least they have a fuckin amazing pool so next summer when we're both all toned and beautiful we can lay out in out bikinis and tan.

I should prolly try and think of a game plan for this before I actually get going. Well I need to get my treadmill fixed but once I do my plan is two days a week running and two days a week weight lifting so I can tone. If I have the extra motivation I'll add in a bike ride or two but until I get the treadmill fixed I'll have to bike. Every night I'll do crunches untill I can't anymore and then do another set.

Foodwise I wanna be healthy. More fruits and veggies, no junk food and no pop unless it's diet. Lots and lots of water, as much as I can drink as well as 2 or 3 cups of green tea.

I'm gonna take advantage of my job and check out workout videos on occasion so I can get in a quick 20 minutes here and there.

Tomorrow morning I'll start this all off with bike ride and possibly a workout video. This first week I'm gonna try and stop all my cravings so I can start to limit what I eat. And of course I'll write it all down here.


Hey guys! This being my first post I bet you want to know a little about me so I'm not just another face in this xanga world. I made this xanga for one purpose and one purpose only...to lose some weight and get healthy. I wanna be able to wear a shirt again with confidence, know I look good in what I'm wearing, and feel great. I came here because I know this is probably one of the best places to keep up with my progress and get and give the support that will keep me going.

Last winter I lost about 15 pounds and felt great about myself but sadly I lost track and gained some of it back over the summer. I'd like to lose what I gained this summer plus some more. I'm not really sure how far I want or need to go but my plan is to just work my hardest until I feel my best and then try and keep myself at that spot.

So go ahead and leave me a comment to help me get going.
